To sleep, perchance to check my inbox.
Yes, they're adorable, but I wouldn't want these overgrown icons in my face during my favorite life-moments: napping, almost napping, or considering a nap. The constant threat of a message going unread for more than 30 seconds is already omnipresent enough for me. I'll stick to plain pillows for now.

Whew. It's not just me.

The Cloud by MIT
This video/art installation is proposed for the 2010 Olympics by uber-geniouses at MIT. Called The Cloud, a tower supports a cluster of enormous translucent spheres that each project images and video. It's powered by energy culled from the people who interact with it, so it's Green, too. This is so compelling, it might get me over my aversion to sports. At least, long enough to check this thing out, and then have a snack and a nap on the couch.

Director Brian Belefant
Commercial director Brian Belefant's blog, full of goodness applicable to any endeavor.
For example:
Whether you want to make art or money, learn to be technically proficient.
Friends will let you starve. Strangers will give you work.
Don’t aim for the middle. Make everything you can for nothing until something hits so big that Hollywood comes knocking.
